E KOMO MAI | Welcome

This was my very first view of Oahu, Hawaii! From the air you can see the city, the exquisite green mountains, and the colors and reefs of the ocean below! This is my new home! An adventure! The beginning of a new chapter in my life, that I can't wait to read!

The plane ride from Salt Lake City to Honolulu was close to 6 hours. We left Salt Lake at about 11:00 AM Thursday, and arrived in Hawaii around 2:00 PM. During the flight, they provided us with a few complimentary snacks, leaving us with quite the appetite when we landed! Luckily for us, there is no shortage of good food on the island!

When I first stepped off of the airplane into the airport or in this case, out of it, I fell in love! The airport pretty much only has a roof, hardly any walls which allowed the warm humid weather to completely surround me and leave me with nothing but a smile! I knew, I had finally found my paradise!
